Premier Matteo Renzi told a
St Petersburg business forum with Russian President Vladimir
Putin that "in Italy we've had 63 governments in 70 years, our
governments last less than a cat on a motorway". He said his
Constitutional reform scrapping the Senate would "guarantee
stability". Renzi said "we in Italy are engaged in a process of
reforms, from the labour market to civil justice to the
Constitutional reform, to guarantee stability".
