Ex-premier Silvio Berlusconi
"will be able to do what he wants" after he recovers from heart
surgery, doctors Ottavio Alfieri and Alberto Zangrillo said
Wednesday. They said there were "no obstacles" to the three-time
premier and media magnate's fully resuming his political
activity. Alfieri said "I don't think there are any particular
restrictions to the (future) activity of (Berlusconi). Of
course, his age will have to be taken into account but I
wouldn't say: 'No, he can't conduct an electoral campaign'."
Alfieri led the operation to replace Berlusconi's aortic valve
while Zangrillo, the three-time premier and media magnate's
personal physician, was the anaesthetist at Milan's San Raffaele
Hospital.
