Northern league leader Matteo
Salvini said Wednesday he was looking to the future and not the
ruins of the past as he bids to lead Italy's centre right in
place of former leader Silvio Berlusconi. "I look to the future,
not to the past...ruins of the past," he said at the Regina
Coeli prison. "Some of the ruins of the past must be left to the
past. I trust in voters and former voters of (Berlusconi's)
Forza Italia (party)".
