The spread between Italian and
German 10-year bonds, a yardstick of Italy's borrowing costs, on
Thursday fell below the 110-point threshold after the European
Central Bank cut rates to a new low and expanded its
quantitative easing (QE) programme.
The spread fell to 105 points, with a yield of 1.25%.
