Paolo Gentiloni told the Senate on Wednesday that the Italian
government would not "let itself get dragged into adventures
that are useless and dangerous for national security" when
commenting on the situation in Libya. "It's not sensible to bang
drums but intervene if and when there is a request from a
legitimate government".
