Italian police are training
owners of shops, bars and businesses in central Rome to be ready
to cope with security threats during Pope Francis' Jubilee Holy
Year, Rome Chamber of Commerce head Lorenzo Tagliavanti said.
During the course, police officers and Chamber of Commerce
representatives will explain how business owners should behave
during situations such as robberies.
"We will say to not play the hero, life is more important
than money, and we will try to explain how to manage emotional
behaviour," Tagliavanti said.
The first meetings of the course, organised by the Chamber
of Commerce, have already started and several more are planned,
he said.
