The list of people aiming to be
the anti-establishment 5-Star Movement's (M5S) mayor candidate
in June's elections in Rome has been narrowed down to six,
following online voting of members on Thursday.
Ten people had been selected for a short list from over 200
runners but four of them pulled out.
Three of the candidates are former Rome city councillors,
Marcello De Vito, Virginia Raggi, and Enrico Stefano.
The other three candidates are university student Annalisa
Bernabei, civil servant and former Ostia borough councillor
Paolo Ferrara, and Rome borough councillor Teresa Zotta.
