(see related) Ignazio Baiano, the
husband of Quarto Mayor Rosa Capuozzo, is under investigation
for alleged false declarations and alleged breach of
construction regulations, ANSA sources said Thursday. This may
have been used in an attempt to blackmail Capuozzo by a former
councillor at the centre of allegations of mafia infiltration in
the local authority, Giovanni De Robbio, the sources said.
Capuozzo has been expelled from the anti-establishment 5-Star
Movement (M5S) after ignoring its calls for her to resign in the
wake of the mafia-infiltration scandal. De Robbio was expelled
from the M5S before Capuozzo was.
