Italian Foreign Minister Paolo
Gentiloni met Russian Vice Premier Arkady Dvorkovich Friday for
bilateral economic talks.
"The economic relationship between Italy and Russia remains
an important one," Gentiloni said.
"In particular in the sectors of energy infrastructure,
roads, mechanical engineering and telecommunications. But there
is still space to further extend cooperation."
"Several successful partnerships between companies in our
two countries are already in place," added the minister,
speaking from the ministry of foreign affairs.
"But our goal is to further strengthen relations between
Italian and Russian production companies."
