Italian fashion house Lardini
has launched "Sahara City", a jacket from its new collection
which combines military and urban style, functionality of
uniforms and new metropolitan elegance.
Sahara City is a jacket/overcoat covered in canvas, made of
a heavy basket weave cotton and silk fabric, an exclusive fibre,
woven on 19th century British looms. Its formal version is the
two-piece jacket and waistcoat with tie, worn over trousers that
are fitted at the ankle.
Other items in its collection include traditional smart
pieces in denim, merging the elegant with the casual. These
include denim trench and waistcoats. Suede also explores new
dimensions, including double-breasted models, and blazers are
styled with contrasting stripes and patterns.
