Relatives of Andrea Avagnina, 53,
found him Friday in critical condition at Nice's Pasteur
Hospital following last night's terror attack that killed at
least 84 people - including 10 children and teens - in the
French Riviera town.
His wife Marinella Ravotti, 55, is still missing. The
couple was on vacation in the southern French city, where they
own a home. Avagnina is a town councillor at San Michele Mondovì
near Cuneo, and Ravotti, who works at the local health agency in
Mondovì.
Earlier a couple from Voghera, Angelo D'Agostino, 71, and
Gianna Muset, 68, were reported missing by their
daughter-in-law.
"We're desperate," said the woman, who is married to the
couple's son Massimiliano. "D'Agostino is 1.70 meters tall,
weighs about 70 kilos, has white hair and was wearing blue jeans
and a blue T-shirt". D'Agostino and his wife were celebrating
his retirement with a trip to the Cote d'Azur.
Also on Friday, and Italian doctor at a Nice pediatric
hospital said he saw no Italian patients among the victims.
"I don't believe there are any Italian children among those
still hospitalized," orthopedic surgeon Federico Solla told
ANSA.
"As of last night, I have not seen any Italian minors
coming into the hospital". Solla works at Nice's Fondation
Lenval Pediatric Hospital.

Many Italians either lost their cellphones or didn't go
home or to their hotels after the attack, Italian Nice
Consul-General Serena Lippi told ANSA earlier.
"We can't trace many Italians, who are therefore classified
as missing," she said, while urging "calm". She said "we are
working closely with the Italian foreign ministry in Rome and
the Italian ambassador (Giandomenico Magliano) is on his way
from Paris".
So far the official tally is of 202 wounded, 52 of them
critical.
