Police on Tuesday arrested 12
people in connection with the alleged infiltration of hospital
cleaning contracts by the Neapolitan Camorra mafia.
The suspects include leaders of the Lo Russo clan,
administrators and consultants of cleaning company Kuadra and
public officials working for the Santobono-Pausilipon hospital.
They face various charges, including mafia association,
corruption, bid rigging, drugs possession and extortion.
Kuadra's premises and assets were also seized during the
operation.
