A Milan doctor was arrested
Wednesday on suspicion of being the so-called serial molester
who sexually assaulted seven female joggers in the city's Lambro
Park between October 26 and December 4 last year.
The 44-year-old suspect, who is married with a child and
has not yet been named, allegedly drove to the park in his
luxury Mercedes, put on a motorcycle helmet, and molested women
joggers, in some cases trying to drag them into the bushes.
One of the victims was attacked three times in seven days.
The alleged perpetrator was nailed by a woman who, hearing
one of the victims screaming on the morning of December 4, saw
the helmet-clad man running out of the park and jumping into a
Mercedes. She photographed the plates with her cell phone, and
reported the incident to police.
Police have called on other possible victims to come
forward.
