A Milan prosecutor on Monday asked
26 years' imprisonment for acid attacker Alexander Boettcher,
already serving 14 years for disfiguring Pietro Barbini.
The most serious of Boettcher's other attacks, the
prosecutor said, was on Stefano Savi who was "permanently
weakened in his sight, smell and touch".
Boettcher is on trial for the November 2014 acid attack
that disfigured university student Savi, as well as other
attacks.
Former real estate broker Boettcher and girlfriend Martina
Levato, an ex-student at Milan's private Bocconi University, are
already serving 14-year sentences for a December 28, 2014, acid
attack on Levato's ex-boyfriend Pietro Barbini, who risks losing
the use of his right eye and was left with third-degree burns to
his face and body.
The court recently heard that Boettcher had branded Levato
numerous times - including on her genitals - because as he told
her during an online chat "the master must brand his livestock".
Prosecutors say this chat and other photographic and video
material found on the defendant's phone and personal computer
are evidence of "pure sadism".
