Viking Ocean Cruises and Italian
shipbuilding giant Fincantieri on Tuesday signed a deal to build
a further two cruise liners, with an option on another two. The
new units will be twins of six already ordered and will join the
Viking fleet respectively in 2021 and 2022. The respective
contracts will be operative when all the technical and financial
conditions have been met. "The extraordinary moment of the
cruise-line sector continues," said Fincantieri CEO Giuseppe
Bono.
