The Milan stock exchange
regained lost ground Thursday after heavy losses earlier in the
day when it plunged -3.3%.
The FTSE Mib bluechip index was trading -1.2%, with ENI
energy giant changing hands +2.3% and Saipem oil and gas
industry contractor +4%.
Monte dei Paschi di Siena (MPS) bank was trading -5.5%
after being suspended earlier on excess volatility.
