The Milan bourse closed 3.49% down Thursday at 18,189 points on the benchmark FTSE-Mib index as banking stocks took another hit amid skepticism about a deal with the EU to offload bad loans. Economy Minister Pier Carlo Padoan negotiated the deal earlier this week. It calls for setting up a 'bad bank lite' to take on the non-performing loans (NPLs)
