Over 2.1 million permanent
full-time hires were made in the first 11 months of 2015 and
1.525 million workers were terminated, INPS social security and
pensions agency said Tuesday.
This translates into a positive balance of 584,000 new
permanent full-time jobs, the agency said.
A total of 1,158,726 people were hired permanently under
labor tax breaks contained in the government's 2015 budget law,
which says employers who make new full-time hires can benefit
from up to 8,060 euros in tax cuts a year for three years.
INPS also said 102.4 million 10-euro vouchers to pay for
occasional work were sold in the first 11 months last year.
This is a 67.5% increase over the same period last year, when
61.1 million vouchers were sold.
The increase for the period was +97.4% in Sicily and +85.6%
in Liguria, INPS said.
