"expressed to Belgian Prime Minister De Croo and Swedish Prime
Minister Kristersson Italy's and her personal deepest
condolences for the serious attack in Brussels last night", said
a note from thr premier's office at Palazzo Chigi after the
meeting in videoconference with the members of the European
Council, on the Israel-Hamas war.
It said the video-meet was "convened by President Charles Michel
to discuss the Hamas attack suffered by Israel and the
implications of the ongoing conflict, with reference also to the
humanitarian situation in Gaza".
