The Milan bourse surged 1.29% after
the rightwing victory in Italy's general election Monday with
the FTSE-Mib index rising to 21,388 points.
TIM, one of the companies expecting action from the new
government, rose 5%. Bank Intesa was 2.7% up and UniCredit 1.2%
up.
The bourse had earlier seesawed between an opening -0.49% and a
+0.5% swing.
