(ANSA) - SOFIA, NOV 30 - More than 30 delegates from
South-eastern European countries gathered in Sofia for the
"Health Diplomacy Course" - Building health resilience in the
SEE Region through bridging science, policy, and diplomacy to
advance the SDG Agenda Diplomacy course: Health Unites People,
promoted and supported by the Central European Initiative, and
co-organized by the South East European Health Network (SEEHN),
the Ministry of Health of Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Diplomatic
Institute, and the Bulgarian Diplomatic Institute. The health
diplomacy course is one of the activities supported by the
Central European Initiatives Cooperation Fund. It is dedicated
to building participants' capacity to address emerging global
health challenges.
During his opening remarks, Gian Matteo Apuzzo, Senior Programme
Manager, Focal Point for Health Strategies and Emergencies
Response at CEI, stated, "Health diplomacy has the outstanding
feature of offering itself as a tool and as a goal for a more
equitable and inclusive vision of health and wellbeing." (ANSA).
