(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, SEP 26 - Serbia's decision to sign an agreement with Russia for mutual 'consultations' on foreign policy issues raises "serious concerns" from the European Commission. A spokesman said at the daily briefing. "It is clear that such an agreement means wanting to tighten relations with Russia, which is conducting an illegal war in Ukraine, and its soldiers are carrying out documented atrocities,' the spokesman underlined. 'We take this matter seriously: Serbia has decided to start on the path of accession to the EU; this includes an alignment on our foreign policy." (ANSA).
