Austria: Populars collapse in Tirol elections, -10%
Good for liberal-nationals Fpoe, flop for no-vax list Mfg
25 September, 18:46According to projections by Orf TV in cooperation with the Sora Institute, with about half of the sections counted, the Popular Party loses 9.8 percent and drops to 34.5 percent for the first time in its history since the postwar period, confirming itself however first party in the assembly of the Austrian land.
Second force are the liberal nationals Fpoe (18.9%, + 3.4%), who surpass even if slightly the Social Democrats (18.6%, +1.35). The civic list Fritz (10%, +4.6%) flies, while the Greens lose, although not like their coalition partner Oevp, and drop to 8.8% (-1.8%). The liberals Neos receive 6.1% of support (+0.9%), while the no-vax list Mfg stops at 2.6% and remains out of the assembly. (ANSA).
