Macedonian parliament ratifies name deal with Greece
President will not sign the agreement. Referendum in autumn
20 June, 15:32Prime Minister Zoran Zaev told lawmakers that Skopje and Athens have reached a "dignified and acceptable" agreement for both countries. The Conservative president Gjorgje Ivanov has already said, however, he does not intend to sign the ratification agreement, which he considers unconstitutional and harmful for the country. In the autumn the document will be submitted to a referendum. (ANSA).
