Italy-Bulgaria: Ambassador Baldi with Economy Minister
Commitment to strengthening collaboration and new investments

(ANSA) - SOFIA - ''We will work to strengthen and further
develop business and economic relations between Bulgaria and
Italy'', Bulgarian Economy Minister Emil Karanikolov said
meeting in Sofia today with Italy's Ambassador to Bulgaria
Stefano Baldi.
Karanikolov underlined that Italy is Bulgaria's traditional
partner of excellence and said he is confident that Italian
companies participation in infrastructure projects in Bulgaria
can help both countries increase bilateral trade.
Ambassador Baldi said that over six thousand Italian companies
and joint ventures operate in Bulgaria, employing about fifty
thousand people. Karanikolov and Baldi said they are willing to
make a joint effort to attract new Italian investments aimed at
strengthening Italy's leading role as Bulgaria's economic
partner. (ANSA)
