Poland: Brussels evaluates EU sanctions next week
Juncker wants discussion after ok to disputed justice reform

(ANSA) - BRUXELLES - Poland risks taking another step towards
opening the procedure for violating the rule of law which,
according to Article 7 of the Lisbon Treaty, could lead to EU
sanctions.
After the approval by the Warsaw parliament of the reform of the judicial system challenged by the Venice Commission and the EU, the European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker personally intervened to "put the theme on the agenda for the next week's College of Commissioners' meeting". (ANSA).
