Slovenia to liberalise fuel prices on motorways
Fuel sold at service stations off highways will still be capped

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JUN 16 - On June 21, prices of motor fuels
sold along highways in Slovenia will be deregulated, while
petrol and diesel sold at service stations off highways will be
still capped, the Slovenian Prime Minister Robert Golob said on
Wednesday evening. The new regime will kick in for a year, the
Slovenian news agency STA reported.
"Under the new model fuel prices would be similar to those in Croatia, but below those in Austria or Italy. Given Tuesday's stock market prices, regular petrol sold outside motorways could go up to just above EUR 1.70 a litre and on motorways by up to 20% and more," STA wrote. (ANSA).
