(ANSA) - TRIESTE, 01 MAG - The first day of May is celebrated
worldwide as International Workers' Day, which marks the 1886
Haymarket labor strike and subsequent riots in Chicago,
Illinois, USA. Very important manifestations and also protests
in occasion of Labour Day or May Day, held in Berlin, Athens and
other capitals in the world.
This year, May Day takes place amid the global pandemic of the COVID-19 disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
