(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 26 FEB - Citizens in the recently newly
renamed Republic of North Macedonia remain divided over the
Prespes agreement with neighbouring Greece, which led to the
change of the name of the former Yugoslavian republic, according
to a survey for the Sitel TV, conducted in North Macedonia.
In the poll, 44.6 percent of respondents said they felt
positively about the deal with Greece, while 45.6 percent said
they had negative feelings about it, Greek media reported.
However, almost 60% of respondents said they are convinced
the deal will have a positive impact on the relations between
Skopje and Athens. (ANSA).
