Ukraine: 4mln people returned from Poland since start of war

(ANSA) - ROME, 28 AGO - Since Feb. 24, more than 5.8 million people have left Ukraine to enter Poland, while nearly 4 million have moved in the opposite direction. This is reported by Polish media citing the country's border guard, Ukrinform reports.

"Since the Russian invasion, Polish border guards have processed the arrival of 5,835,000 people from Ukraine," a statement reads. At the same time, 3,996,000 people have traveled in the opposite direction. The border guards specified that about 24,800 people arrived in Poland from Ukraine on Aug. 26, while 33,200 traveled the opposite way. (ANSA).
