(ANSA) - BELGRADE, NOV 12 - Natasa Pirc Musar is expected to
win the presidential run-off on Sunday, but it will be a close
race because Democrats (SDS) MP Ane Logar appears to have closed
the gap in the final weeks of campaigning. According to
analysts, the turnout will be crucial, with a low turnout likely
to favor Logar, according to the Slovenian news agency STA. Pirc
Musar, a left-liberal, leads conservative Logar 51.7% to 44.6%
in a Delo and POP TV poll released yesterday, compared to
double-digit leads Pirc Musar had in the previous round of
polling. However, according to a Ninamedia poll for Dnevnik,
Pirc Musar will win by just two points. (ANSA).
