Kosovo: Vucic, a compromise agreement is needed

'A crucial problem, but Pristina has no interest in a solution'

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAY 31 - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic reiterated the need to reach a compromise solution on the Kosovo issue.

He then accused Pristina of not respecting agreements and criticized the international community for having double standards without exerting enough pressure on the Kosovar leadership. "We must strive for a compromise solution," Vucic said, speaking in parliament after taking the oath of office for his second presidential term.

That of Kosovo, he added, remains a crucial political issue even for the new government to be formed in Serbia in the coming weeks. "A problem also crucial for the west," he underlined.
