(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JUN 2 - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic
said he expected an increase in international pressure on his
country regarding the Kosovo issue. In an interview last night
with the private broadcaster Happy TV, Vucic mentioned, in
particular, the US and the EU, who are urging to find a
solution. "According to them - he said - the only solution is
the recognition of Kosovo's independence." In his opinion, the
goal is to stop Serbia's economic growth. "It is not just about
recognizing Kosovo. That is only part of it. There is another
issue on the table, and that is to stop Serbia's economic
growth," Vucic underlined. According to him, through Kosovo, the
whole of Serbia is to be "destroyed." The president then
reiterated both his country's stance of military neutrality and
firm will to continue on the path towards integration into the
EU while maintaining close friendships with Russia and China.
"We will not impose sanctions on Russia and China." (ANSA).
