(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MARCH 28 - A total of 59155 confirmed
cases of coronavirus (+8407 day-on-day), 42288 in Germany only,
and 414 deaths (+93) were registered in countries in Central-
and Eastern Europe, Germany, Austria and Greece as March 27,
according to official data of national authorities collected by
the World Health Organization (WHO).
Most of cases of COVID-19 in the area were registered in
Germany (42288, +5780 in the last 24 hours, 253 deaths),
followed by Austria (7029, +1141, 52 deaths), Czech Republic
(2062, +408), Poland (1221, +170), Romania (1036, +196), Greece
(892, +71), Slovenia (577, +49), Estonia (538, +134), Croatia
(495, +77), Serbia (457, +73), Hungary (300, +39), Lithuania
(299, +25), Bulgaria (264, +22), Latvia (244, +23), Slovakia
(226, +10), Ukraine (218, +62), Bosnia-Herzegovina (213, +40),
North Macedonia (201, +24), Albania (186, +12), Moldova (177,
+28), Belarus (86) Kosovo (79, +8), Montenegro (67, +15).
In Slovenia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania and in the Western
Balkans (Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo,
North Macedonia, Albania) 3575 confirmed cases were registered
until March 27.
Austria has registered 789 cases of COVID-19 per million
inhabitants, followed by Germany (508), Estonia (405), Slovenia
