(ANSA) - SKOPJE - The recise Sector Operational Programme for
Transport 2014-2020, within IPA programme, has been approved,
through which 127.2 million euro are allocated to Macedonia. Of
these, 108.1 million is from IPA II programme, while 19.1
million are approved from the Macedonian budget. The funds are
intended for projects in railway, roads and technical
assistance.
According to Mia press agency, 71.5 million are allocated in
sector railways and will be used for construction of part of
third phase of the railway line to Bulgaria, section Kriva
Palanka, Deve Bair border crossing, Ministry of Transport and
Communications told. Macedonian government is strongly committed
to implementation of capital projects and reforms in the
transport sector that will accelerate the economic growth in the
country, Ministry of Transport and Communications said in a
