Coronavirus: media, 100 refugees positive in Greek hotel

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, APRIL 21 - More than 100 migrants and refugees hosted in a hotel in the town of Kranidi, in Greece, tested positive for coronavirus, the Greek daily Kathimerini reported, quoting information from the news agency ANA-MPA. The hotel, already in quarantine since last week, when a worker in the facility was tested positive, hosts mostly people that came to Greece from sub-Saharan Africa.

"There is no reason to panic," said the Greek Deputy Minister for Civil Protection and Crisis Management Nikos Hardalias, ANA-MPA reported, adding that the accommodation facility is currently hosting around 470 asylum seekers.

Greece registered 2,245 confirmed cases of coronavirus, 116 deaths. (ANSA).
