Merkel says Germany's current Covid curbs 'not enough'
New infections double every 12 days

(ANSA-AFP) - BERLIN, NOV 22 - German Chancellor Angela Merkel
said Monday that existing measures are insufficient to tame a
vicious fourth wave of the pandemic, party sources told AFP. "We
have a highly dramatic situation -- the current rules are not
enough," Merkel told a meeting of leaders of her conservative
CDU party, participants said, as new infections "double every 12
days". (ANSA-AFP).
