(ANSA) - BELGRADE, SEP 9 - In July 2021, Croatia recorded 3.5
million tourist arrivals and 21.0 million tourist nights in
commercial accommodation establishments, which was an increase
of 57.3% in tourist arrivals and of 42.9% in tourist nights
compared to July 2020, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics (DZS)
informed today. Compared to July 2019, it was a decrease in
tourist arrivals and nights of 18.0%, meaning that the touristic
sector reached 82% of pre-pandemic levels, the DZS noted.
Foreign tourists realised 3.2 million tourist arrivals and 19.2
million nights in July 2021, which was an increase in tourist
arrivals of 60.8% and in tourist nights of 44.1% compared to
July 2020, the DZS added. (ANSA).
