(ANSA) - Rome, March 8 - Francesco Molinari has signed a
multiannual contract with California-based golf-equipment giant
Callaway, which boasts among its ranks top players including
Sergio Garcia.
Molinari, the 2018 Race to Dubai champion, will start his
cooperation with the US company already at the Arnold Palmer
Invitational, a PGA Tour tournament scheduled in Orlando from
Thursday to Sunday.
"After a year like the one I experienced, the easiest thing
to say and think would be to change nothing", Molinari said.
"But I have tried to move forward instead, choosing the best
possible equipment and a company that has the will to improve
and excel".
With his new equipment, Molinari is gearing up for change on
the green of the Bay Hill GC.
The most significant change, the Turin-born player said, will
be his ball - a Callaway Chrome Soft X.
"The biggest question mark always concerns the ball - I was
impressed by the speed and rotation," he said.
And in order to continue climbing the world ranking, Molinari
is betting on Callaway, the American golf giant.
