(ANSA) - Rome, September 20 - Bank of Italy Governor Ignazio
Visco said it is necessary to stop scapegoating the European
Union and migrants if Italy is going to get on the path to
sustained growth. Giving a lecture in Ancona, Visco said an
"effective plan" for growth "requires the definitive abandonment
of the easy and illusory search for scapegoats - Europe,
finance, the markets, immigrants - so it can instead be based on
an in-depth analysis of the evils of our economy".
