Austria will revise its travel
advisory for Lombardy, the northern Italian region worst hit by
the coronavirus, "very soon", Foreign Minister Alexander
Schallenberg, said on a visit to Bolzano Monday.
"I am confident that the travel advisory for Lombardy will be
rescinded very soon," he said.
"Even in the case of a second wave we will seek local solutions
to guarantee Schengen and avert the closure of borders as
happened in March.
"Reopening is more difficult than closing and with Italy we have
always tried the regional solution, which has also been applied
for Guetersloh in Germany."
