The Italian infrastructure and
transport ministry issued a statement Wednesday saying that it
was committed to sharing the outcome of a cost-benefit analysis
on the Turin-Lyon high-speed rail (TAV) with France and Brussels
prior to publishing the findings.
The analysis was done by a working group under Professor
Marco Ponti.
It added that it would afterwards be sharing the analysis and
making it public and that a hearing with Ponti would be useful.
The ministry, according to French media, said that reports
that the analysis would be given to French Transport Minister
Elisabeth Borne on Friday were untrue
.
