Libya's deal with Italy on
migrants is "a model accord, which other European countries can
subscribe to," Libyan Deputy Premier Ahmed Maitig told the Med
Dialogues 2017 in Rome Thursday. Maitig said "Italy has done a
lot, it has done what is possible, also against terrorism, but
we are looking for other partners to stop the phenomenon of
clandestine immigration. More initiatives are needed on the part
of the European countries".
