Up to 50 migrants may have
drowned after ending up in the water when their boat capsized in
the Sicilian Channel on Monday, survivors have told police after
59 migrants and the body of a two-year-old boy were offloaded
from a Sea Watch ship at Pozzallo yesterday. A 26-year-old
Nigerian woman was saved from drowning but her two-year-old son
drowned before her eyes, sources said Thursday.
