Thousands lined the
streets of Washington, DC on Wednesday in expectation of Pope
Francis.
They sported Pope Francis stickers on their T-shirts, bags
and backpacks.
The round sticker being distributed by volunteers features
a photo of the smiling pope and the motto 'Share the joy, walk
with Francis' and the hashtag #PopeInDC.
On his way to the White House, Francis broke with protocol
when he stopped to shake hands, hug people and kiss babies.
The pontiff chatted with some of the faithful who had
gathered to welcome him, and had his picture taken with some.
