Pope Francis will spend
his fourth and final day in Cuba on Tuesday before flying to the
United States for the second part of this week's trip.
The Argentine pontiff arrived in the Cuban city of
Santiago on Monday after spending time in Havana and Holguin.
On Tuesday he will preside over Mass at the minor
Basilica of the shrine Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre in
Santiago.
He will then meet with families at Santiago's Our Lady of
the Assumption Cathedral.
At around 12.30 local time, (18:30 in Italy) the pope
will take off from Cuba for the United States.
He is expected to arrive at the Andrews Air Force base
near Washington DC at 16:00 local time (22:00 in Italy), where
he will be welcomed by President Barack Obama and First Lady
Michelle Obama.
