Skipper Giorgio Chiellini has
added to Juventus's defensive injury woes as a calf muscle
injury in the 3-0 Italian Cup defeat at Atalanta Wednesday looks
set to keep him sidelined for 10-15 days, coach Massimiliano
Allegri said Friday.
The Italian champions are already without Chiellini's partner
Leonardo Bonucci who is out for up to a month after spraining
his ankle in Juventus's 2-1 win at Lazio Sunday night.
The seven-time straight and reigning Serie A champs are
11 points clear of Napoli in second.
Chiellini will miss the home game against Parma Saturday and
also probably the game at Sassuolo in a week's time.
Allegri dismissed talk of a "crisis" after the Atalanta
thumping, saying "it was just one game".
Bonucci is a serious doubt for the upcoming Champions League
quarterfinal at Atletico Madrid.
