Second-placed Napoli beat Lazio
2-1 at home on Sunday to trim Juventus's lead at the top of the
table to six points.
The Turin giants, who are aiming for an eighth consecutive
Serie A title, can restore their advantage to nine points by
beating bottom side Chievo at home later on Monday.
First-half goals by Jose Callejon and Arkadiusz Milik earned
Napoli victory.
Ciro Immobile pulled one back for Lazio in the second half
but the visitors' hopes of staging a comeback were dashed when
centre back Francesco Acerbi was sent off for a second yellow
card.
Third-placed Inter are seven points behind Napoli on 40 after
being held to a goalless draw at home by Sassuolo.
AS Roma climbed to fourth with 32 points, one point more than
Lazio, thanks to a 3-2 win over Torino.
Sixth-placed AC Milan take on Genoa away later on Monday.
