FIFA chief Gianni Infantino on
Wednesday called for "concrete acts to stop violence and racism"
after the Boxing Day Inter-Napoli game marred by an ultra
leader's death in scuffles and monkey chants against Kalidou
Koulibaly.
Speaking at the Globe Soccer event in Dubai, Infantino said
"sporting managers should cool their tempers, because aggression
that produces racism and violence is sometimes due to
inappropriate tones by directors".
Infantino said he had felt "sadness and indignation" at the
chants against Koulibaly.
As for the Inter ultra who was crushed to death by a car
after Inter ultras attacked Napoli fans, Infantino said "the
laws have to be changed, we need tougher ones".
