Gabriele Gravina was elected the new head of the Italian Soccer Federation (FIGC) on Monday. Gravina, the only candidate, won 97.2% of the ballots cast in the first round of voting at the FIGC assembly. The 64-year-old will take over from commissioner Roberto Fabbricini, brought in after Carlo Tavecchio resigned after Italy's failure to qualify for the World Cup.i
